This nature cottage is part of a magnificent 17th-century Norman farmhouse. Available year-round and fully heated via a heat pump, it offers a warm and comfortable stay in any season. The gîte features a fully equipped kitchen complete with a 4-burner stovetop, cookware, microwave, oven, coffee machine, and refrigerator. On your private terrace, you will find a cozy outdoor dining set with cushions and parasols, perfect for relaxing moments in the fresh air. The house is surrounded by a large grassy meadow and a lush food forest. We have friendly sheep and cats on-site. Guests are welcome to use the sun loungers, hammocks, and the trampoline. As your hosts, we are happy to assist you during your stay, offer a warm welcome, answer any questions, and ensure you enjoy all the peace and privacy you need. Enhance your stay with our locally made products available for purchase: craft beer from our own nano-brewery (WitchDruid), felted art made from our sheep's wool, and paintings and greeting cards created by Sylvie.

We are Sylvie and Peter, proud owners of this 18th-century farmhouse gîte. Peter brews craft beer at our on-site nano-brewery (WitchDruid), while Sylvie is a massage therapist and wool artist. Deeply inspired by Druidism, shamanism, and Celtic culture, we fell in love with this magical place in 2017. Surrounded by forests, lakes, artist villages, and ancient Celtic sites, it is a true haven of nature and history. We look forward to welcoming you!

At our property, sustainable living is not just a practice—it’s a way of life. We are committed to caring for the earth, minimizing our footprint, and creating a balanced, natural sanctuary for both our guests and our animals. Harmonizing with Nature Our grounds feature a growing food forest and permaculture-inspired keyhole gardens, allowing us to cultivate food in harmony with natural ecosystems. We maintain multiple compost bins to enrich our soil, ensuring that organic waste goes right back into nourishing the land. Renewable Energy & Efficiency We strive to power our operations as clean as possible. Electricity is generated on-site through our solar panels, and the gîte is comfortably heated year-round using an energy-efficient air-to-air heat pump. Ethical & Circular Homesteading Animals are a key part of our ecosystem, but none of them are kept for slaughter. We share our home with 5 sheep, chickens, and cats, all of whom live peaceful lives here. Our sheep contribute to a circular craft: Sylvie uses their ethically sourced wool to create beautiful felted scarves, hats, and bags. By staying with us, you are supporting a holistic, low-impact lifestyle rooted in respect for nature, animals, and local craftsmanship.
