If you're looking for somewhere to relax in a beautiful quiet, rural location with your own heated, private pool and 1.5 acres of gardens with fresh vegetables and eggs readily available, you've found it! Once you're topped up your tan around our 10 x 5 pool, cool off in the hammock under the trees. If you're feeling more energetic head off into the forest opposite for a walk or borrow one of our bikes or play football or badminton in the garden. The facilities of the Clubhouse are available 24/7 (table tennis, darts, small gym) and our local village has a brand new tennis court waiting to be used. The patio outside the property offers a lovely setting for all your meals where you can bbq (wood or gas) to your hearts content or even try your hand at making your own pizzas with our pizza oven. As evening approaches why not sit down at The View with a glass of something and watch the stunning sunsets or jump in the eco wood-fired hot tub and gaze at the stars. A difficult choice to make! If you want to venture further afield, the beautiful pink city of Toulouse is an hour away, Spain and the magnificent Pyrenees an hour and a half and many other places in between.

Activités recommandées par votre hôte : Across the road from the house is a beautiful forest with plentiful walks. We have a number of bikes which you can borrow to also explore the forest or neighbouring countryside. A free tennis court is 5 mins drive away or if you want to stay local why not swim, play badminton, boules, or enjoy our local walks. There are two lakes nearby which you can walk round or fish (permit). If you like to draw or paint then there are views a plenty from rolling countryside in one direction to the mighty Pyrenees in the other.

Bringing life back into such a large house and gite has not been without its troubles. We have tried where possible to use local tradesmen, local suppliers and not to be wasteful. All our hot water is produced by solar panels on the house and part of our heating provided by local wood supplies in the nearby forests. We grow a lot of our own fruit and vegetables and our chickens keep us and the guests in eggs. We encourage our guests to save water and recycle where possible and enjoy the surroundings as they are.
