Le hameau de Coudet

The guest house is situated at the end of our small private hamlet in an 8-hectare estate surrounded by nature. The accommodation comprises a bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a living room with wood-burning stove and a well-equipped open-plan kitchen, and a private terrace with views over the countryside. Access to the swimming pool (without fence or lock) overlooking the meadow and forest for total relaxation. On arrival, the beds are made up with soft organic bed linen and you are provided with organic shampoo, shower gel, towels and bath sheets. We live in a neighbouring building in the same hamlet. We have a few cats, free-range chickens, sheep and donkeys. We are renovating the remaining buildings using eco-friendly materials. The renovation work will not affect you, as it is now almost exclusively interior work and the houses are set well apart from one another. Just a stone's throw from Périgord, at the crossroads of Lot-et-Garonne, Lot and Dordogne, the hamlet is set back from the roads, on the edge of forests and meadows. Numerous hiking trails can be accessed directly from our property and in the surrounding area. For example, you can walk to the Château de Bonaguil in an hour. You'll find a whole range of tourist sites and activities: medieval villages and bastides, fortified castles, caves, boat or canoe trips on the Lot or Dordogne rivers, farmers' markets, night markets, flea markets and wineries (Cahors, Bergerac, Perigord). You'll need a car for travelling and shopping. The nearest TGV station (Agen) is 60 minutes away, while the nearest airport, Bergerac, is 50 minutes away by car. Toulouse international airport is 1 hour 50 minutes away. Car rentals are available in these cities. Please note: in July and August, bookings from Saturday to Saturday only. Unfortunately, we cannot accept dogs, for the sake of our own animals and the wildlife (assistance dogs are, of course, exempt).
