Le Clos du Papoune is a peaceful self-catering comfortable holiday rental in Nyons equipped with a private heated pool (secured with floating shutter-curtain), free Internet/wifi, barbecue and television. The comfortable provençal villa is fully equiped (oven, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, ...). A washing machine is also freely available. Throughout the holiday rental as well as the garden, there is free Wifi. Part of the terras is covered and a barbecue is present. An outside shower allows a refreshing rinse, without the need to enter the house. On the second terrace under the pine trees, the hammac is the perfect place for reading your favourite book or a relaxing nap. Plenty of activities are possible in the neighbourhood, such as walking, canyoning, Bicycle/vtt, climbing, tourism (montelimar, Orange, Vaison la Romaine, Nyons, Richerenches, Crest, crocodile farm,.. ..), accrobranche, golf, ... Rent this house in the Drome Provencale, a part of South France for a relaxing holiday and recharging your batteries. Games, books, baby cot, highchair, babybath, stroller... all freely available.

Originally from Belgium, but after falling in love with France (and one of its inhabitants :-)), now spend a lot of time in the Drôme provençale. This is our go-to spot for a little peace, quiet, and a reset. I love meeting people from all over the world and learning about the customs and daily habits of their countries. When I am not busy in the garden, I love to read (you'll find plenty of books) or help my husband in his olive yard.

Since the start of our adventure we always aimed to do our renovations and changes to become more sustainable (solar panels, solar water heater, heat pump, LED light, isolation,...). Nearly all our furniture is thrifted and/or repurposed. In the garden, we prefer drought resistant plants and have mulched all plants to protect them from drought. Watering plants is done responsibly and of course no pesticides are used. Cleaning material, laundry detergent and shower gel are eco-friendly. We encourage and facilitate water re-usage, eco-responsible usage of airco and waste sorting as much as possible (without obligations, you are on holiday). You’ll find reusable shopping bags, refillable soap dispensers, a traditional espresso apparatus and an soda water makers to help cut down on (plastic) waste.
