Week-end en famille à la campagne à Rossfeld

The house is lovely in beautiful location and the garden is even bigger than it looks in the photos. It is the last property at the end of a track, and the river is not navigable, so it is very private. The covered outdoor seating and dinning area is great. We were able to sit out there even when it was raining. Quentin and Laura have obviously worked hard to make it a lovely holiday home. We would highly recommend this house. The only negative points were: The only place to hang clothes is just inside the front door in the kitchen/sitting area. The bedrooms only have a few hooks and narrow book shelves with most of the shelves removed, so not suitable for clothes at all and the smaller bedroom (the double room) has limited floor space for bags. There was no iron, ironing board or bread knife and only one very tall saucepan. There only aircon is in the kitchen/sitting area, so you have to leave the bedroom doors open at night. The internet access is via a mobile data plan which appears to be renewed on a monthly basis and had all been used up for the month when we got there! There was a blockage in the pipe from the loo, which meant it was very slow to drain and had to be flushed multiple times even to get rid of just a few sheets of toilet paper. Despite these points, we would still recommend the house and would go back there.
